Can we change for the better?

All of us have made some big mistakes in life and we want to change and make things better.

Can we reall do this?

It seems to be quite a painstaking process in this phase of our development of our life.

Nevertheless, if we strive on, we will be amazed to see the difference and find that many times, we are on the way and we are half way through.

We need to know a new freedom and a new happiness.

We regret the past but do not wish to shut the door on it as we want to learn from our mistakes.

We must learn to comprehend the word serenity and then we will know peace.

No matter how far down the scale we have gone, we must realize that our experience can benefit others. Then only that feeling of uselessness and self-pity will disappear.

We must learn to lose interest in selfish things and gain insight into our fellows. Then our
self-seeking will and ways will slip away.

Our whole attitude and outlook need to change for the better. Then our fear of people and economic insecurity will leave us.

Then we will intuitively know how to handle situations which used to baffle us.

We will also realize that God is doing for us what we could not do for outselves.

Are these extravagant aims and principles?

Maybe and maybe not.

They can be fulfilled among us--sometimes quickly, sometimes slowly. They will always materialize if we work for them.

Why won't we give it a try?
