Is the grass greener on your side?

"There is an objective reality out there, but we view it through the spectacles of our beliefs, attitudes, and values."
~David G. Myers, Social Psychology

Is the grass greener where you water it?

It appears that way. If you are a currency trader, then you may say,"Today was a good example of persistence and patience paying off."

We may visualize that the gains are out there, and accept them as they come, knowing that our acceptance is a reward for all the emotional and mental conditioning we have gone through.

We accept this REAL form of trading that we believe in and know works. As our confidence grows our attitudes begin to adjust, so that a down day is only an expense of our system rather than a loss.

In this way, then isn't the grass always greener on our side of the river?
