Is the suffering worth it?

"Forgiveness is freeing up and putting to better use the energy once consumed by
holding grudges, harbouring resentments, and nursing unhealed wounds.

It is rediscovering the strengths we always had and relocating our limitless
capacity to understand and accept other people and ourselves."

~Sidney & Susan Simon

They say when you practsice, you become good or even better.

We are all experts in pride. Whenever someone does something wrong to us, we are done with them,we don't forgive, all because of our pride.

We call the offence 'unforgivable.' The real problem is our pride and ego.

Because of pride and misplaced honour, we add more fire to the injustice to remind ourselves that we are the experts and cannot forgive.

Guess who is going to suffer and gain more and more emotional poison?

We are going to suffer for all kinds of things people do around us, even though they have nothing to do with us.

We also learn to suffer just to punish whoever abused us.

Practice doesn't always make us perfect.

Is all these suffering worth it?
