Of wisdom and understanding

"The saddest aspect of life right now is that science gathers knowledge faster
than society gathers wisdom. "

~Isaac Asimov,
Isaac Asimov's Book of Science and Nature Quotations, 1988

Wisdom, understanding of what is true.

Even though a simple meaning, we can overcomplicate a simple thing and become confused knowing the truth, but not understanding it, and it's implications.

Instead of giving examples, next time you make a choice, seek a more permanent or stable answer.

Do not settle for temporary wisdom, it will only cost you exponentially more later.

Do we complicate things unnecessarily when we fail to understand things?
